Established in 2023, Tempero is a vibrant Latin eatery nestled on Karangahape Road. Born from Chef Fabio Bernardini's lifelong passion for food and hospitality, the project was brought to life alongside his partner in life and business, Tiffany Low. Together, the husband-and-wife duo have created a space that redefines the dining experience, showcasing bold flavours, warm hospitality, and a thoughtful reflection of Chef Fabio's Latin culture.
At Tempero, every dish is made with quality seasonal produce, inspired by tradition, and elevated through Chef Fabio’s modern lens. With a strong commitment to pairing exceptional food with impeccable service, Tempero offers an inclusive and welcoming experience for all, serving as a celebration of culture, community, and connection. From the moment guests walk through the doors, they are welcomed into Tempero's philosophy of fun dining.
In 2026, Tempero was awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand in the inaugural New Zealand edition of the MICHELIN Guide. This distinction recognises restaurants serving high-quality food at great value. The Tempero team is honoured to be one of 13 restaurants in Auckland (and one of 35 across New Zealand) to receive this recognition.
